YANG Nan, YU Jiangfei, LI Li, SONG Ying, JIN Yigao, ZHU Peili, DONG Yijun
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.001
【Objective】
To evaluate the effectiveness of a phased rehabilitation program in patients undergoing arthroscopic LARS artificial ligament reconstruction.
【Methods】
A total of 78 patients who underwent arthroscopic anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) reconstruction with LARS artificial ligament at Nanyang Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from January 2023 to September 2025 were enrolled and randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each consisting of 39 patients. The control group received standard postoperative care, routine rehabilitation exercises, and health education, while the observation group received a phased rehabilitation program in addition to the same interventions as the control group. Postoperative visual analog scale (VAS) scores, Lysholm knee function score (Lysholm score), manual muscle testing (MMT) grades, knee circumference, swelling resolution time, and adverse events were compared between the two groups immediately after surgery and at 3 months postoperatively.
【Results】
At 3 months post-surgery, both groups showed decreased VAS scores and improved Lysholm scores; however, the observation group had significantly lower VAS scores and higher Lysholm scores than the control group (all P<0.05). Compared to immediately after surgery, MMT grades in both groups got improved, and the observation group demonstrated better MMT grades than the control group (all P<0.05). At 3 months post-surgery, the observation group had smaller knee circumference and shorter swelling resolution time than the control group (all P<0.05). The overall incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).
【Conclusion】
In patients undergoing arthroscopic LARS artificial ligament reconstruction, a phased rehabilitation program can significantly reduce pain, promote recovery of knee function and muscle strength, decrease knee circumference, shorten swelling resolution time, and is associated with high safety.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.003
【Objective】
To evaluate the effectiveness of a remote management model based on electronic stethoscopes in preschool children with recurrent wheezing in remote areas.
【Methods】
A total of 66 preschool children with recurrent wheezing who visited People's Hospital of Gongshan County, Nujiang Prefecture of Yunnan between February 2024 and February 2025 were selected as study subjects and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group, each comprising 33 cases. The control group received routine follow-up and standard management measures, while the observation group received the same interventions plus a remote management model based on electronic stethoscopes. Over a 12-month follow-up period, we compared the number of wheezing episodes, respiratory infections, days of systemic corticosteroid use, hospitalizations, outpatient and emergency visits due to wheezing, average monthly medical costs, and average monthly total healthcare-related expenses between the two groups. Additionally, we assessed the Children's Respiratory and Asthma Control Test (TRACK) scores and the Pediatric Quality of Life Inventory (PedsQL
TM
4.0) scores.
【Results】
At the end of follow-up, the observation group showed significantly fewer wheezing episodes, respiratory infections, outpatient/emergency visits, and hospitalizations than the control group (all P<0.05). The observation group also had significantly shorter duration of systemic corticosteroid use and lower average monthly medical and total healthcare-related costs compared to the control group (all P<0.05). Furthermore, TRACK and PedsQL
TM
4.0 scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (all P<0.05).
【Conclusion】
The remote management model based on electronic stethoscopes enables continuous monitoring and standardized care for preschool children with recurrent wheezing in remote areas, effectively reducing wheezing episodes and healthcare resource utilization, improving disease control, and enhancing quality of life, thus demonstrating significant clinical value.

Wang Yachan, Chen Yufei, Wang Qiuju
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.004
【Objective】
To investigate the levels of peripheral blood Treg cells and nuclear factor-κB p65 (NF-κB-p65) and their clinical significance in patients with Parkinson's disease (PD).
【Methods】
A total of 82 PD patients admitted to the Ninth People's Hospital of Zhengzhou from April 2019 to July 2022 were enrolled and divided into good-prognosis group (n=57) and poor-prognosis group (n=25) according to their prognosis. Flow cytometry was used to detect the level of Treg cells, and reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) was applied to detect NF-κB-p65 level. The prognostic influencing factors of PD patients were analyzed, and the predictive value of Treg cells and NF-κB-p65 for poor prognosis in PD patients was evaluated.
【Results】
The levels of hypoxia-inducible factor-1α (HIF-1α), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) and NF-κB-p65 in the poor-prognosis group were higher, while Treg cell level was lower than those in the good-prognosis group (all P<0.05). Binary Logistic regression analysis showed that HIF-1α, IL-1β and NF-κB-p65 were risk factors for poor prognosis in PD patients (all P<0.05), whereas Treg cell was a protective factor (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis demonstrated that poor prognosis of PD patients was positively correlated with HIF-1α, IL-1β and NF-κB-p65 (r=0.529, 0.537, 0.602, all P<0.05), and negatively correlated with Treg cells (r=-0.504, P<0.05). Receiver operating characteristic curve analysis indicated that the combined detection of HIF-1α, IL-1β, NF-κB-p65 and Treg cells possessed high predictive value for poor prognosis of PD patients (area under the curve>0.9).
【Conclusion】
Low expression of peripheral blood Treg cells and over-expression of inflammatory factor NF-κB-p65 before treatment may suggest poor post-treatment prognosis in PD patients, which can serve as indicators for poor prognosis of PD patients.

Effects of Adipose-Derived Stem Cell Conditioned Medium on Proliferation and Apoptosis of Human Frozen Shoulder Joint Capsular Fibroblasts and its Related Mechanism
HUANG Xinji, LUO Shengcheng, ZHANG Cheng, WENG Xiaojun
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.008
【Objective】
To investigate the effects of adipose-derived stem cell conditioned medium (ADSC-CM) on the proliferation and apoptosis of human frozen shoulder capsular fibroblasts and its underlying mechanism.
【Methods】
ADSC-CM was prepared in vitro. Primary human frozen shoulder capsular fibroblasts were cultured and identified. According to different cell interventions, cells were divided into control group (group A1), agonist group (group B1), ADSC-CM group (group C1), and ADSC-CM plus agonist group (group D1). After intervention, fibroblast proliferation and apoptosis, reactive oxygen species (ROS) level, and the expression levels of fibrosis-related proteins in transforming growth factor-β1/Smad (TGF-β1/Smad) signaling pathway were detected in each group.
【Results】
Compared with group A1, group C1 exhibited decreased fibroblast proliferation, increased apoptosis, reduced ROS content, and significantly down-regulated protein expression of collagen Ⅰ/Ⅲ, TGF-β1 and phosphorylated Smad2 (p-Smad2) (P<0.05). Group D1 showed similar inhibitory effects to group B1 (P<0.05), and the agonist could partially reverse the regulatory effect of ADSC-CM.
【Conclusion】
By down-regulating the expression of fibrosis-related proteins in the TGF-β1/Smad pathway, ADSC-CM inhibits fibroblast proliferation, induces fibroblast apoptosis and reduces intracellular ROS level, thereby exerting anti-fibrotic effects. It can provide experimental evidence for the treatment of patients with frozen shoulder.

ZHANG Wenyu, CAI Lingle, ZHANG Chen, ZHAO Guanlei
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.010
【Objective】
To investigate the predictive efficacy of serum prealbumin (PA), serum amyloid A (SAA) and soluble triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells-1 (sTREM-1) for the prognosis of patients with severe acute pancreatitis (SAP).
【Methods】
A total of 121 patients with SAP admitted to our hospital from January 2023 to December 2025 were enrolled. Serum levels of PA, SAA and sTREM-1 were detected after admission. Prognosis was evaluated based on 28-day mortality after admission: 32 deceased patients classified as poor prognosis (the death group) and 89 surviving patients classified as good prognosis (the survival group). Clinical data were compared between the two groups, and prognostic influencing factors were analyzed. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was adopted to analyze the predictive value of related indicators for patient prognosis.
【Results】
The serum PA level in the poor prognosis group was significantly lower than that in the good prognosis group, while the levels of SAA and sTREM-1 in the poor prognosis group were markedly higher than those in the good prognosis group (P<0.05). The APACHE Ⅱ score and the proportion of complicated with multiple organ failure in the poor prognosis group were higher, whereas the proportion of mechanical ventilation was lower compared to the good prognosis group (P<0.05). Multivariate stepwise Logistic regression analysis revealed that PA was an independent protective factor for prognosis, while SAA, sTREM-1, APACHE Ⅱ score and multiple organ failure were independent risk factors (P<0.05). ROC curve analysis demonstrated that the combined detection of PA, SAA and sTREM-1 yielded a sensitivity of 90.60%, specificity of 91.00% and area under the curve of 0.934 for predicting patient prognosis, which were superior to the predictive performance of each single indicator (P<0.05).
【Conclusion】
Serum PA is an independent protective factor for the prognosis of SAP patients, and SAA and sTREM-1 are independent risk factors. Combined detection of the three biomarkers can effectively predict the prognostic outcomes of SAP patients.

XIA Wenxiang, ZHENG Beibei, LIU Na
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.014
【Objective】
To explore the correlation between the expression of autophagy-related proteins in fetal membrane tissues and adverse pregnancy outcomes in pregnant women with gestational hypertension.
【Methods】
A total of 86 pregnant women with gestational hypertension who received regular prenatal examinations in Dancheng County Maternal and Child Health Hospital from May 2020 to May 2023 were enrolled as the observation group and further divided into good-outcome subgroup and adverse-outcome subgroup according to pregnancy outcomes. Another 86 normal pregnant women receiving regular prenatal examinations during the same period were selected as the control group. Clinical data of all subjects were collected. Immunohistochemical staining was used to detect the expression of autophagy-related proteins Beclin-1, microtubule-associated protein 1 light chain 3-Ⅱ (LC3-Ⅱ) and sequestosome-1 (p62) in fetal membrane tissues. Risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational hypertension were screened, and the predictive value of Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ and p62 expression in fetal membranes for adverse pregnancy outcomes was analyzed.
【Results】
The expression levels of Beclin-1 and LC3-Ⅱ in fetal membrane tissues of the observation group were higher than those of the control group (all P<0.05), while p62 level was lower (P<0.05). Among the 86 patients with gestational hypertension, 32 cases developed adverse pregnancy outcomes. The 24-hour urinary protein quantification, serum uric acid, vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ, and the proportions of CD3
+
, CD56
+
, CD68
+
positive cells in the adverse-outcome subgroup were higher than those in the good-outcome subgroup (all P<0.05), whereas p62 level was lower (P<0.05). 24-hour urinary protein quantification, serum uric acid, VEGF, Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ, p62, CD3
+
, CD56
+
and CD68
+
were influencing factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes in gestational hypertension (P<0.05). The area under the curve values of Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ, p62 and their combination for evaluating adverse pregnancy outcomes were 0.803, 0.792, 0.821 and 0.889, respectively.
【Conclusion】
Abnormal expression of Beclin-1, LC3-Ⅱ and p62 in fetal membrane tissues is correlated with adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with gestational hypertension, which can assist in assessing the risk of adverse pregnancy outcomes.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.015
【Objective】
To investigate the clinical efficacy of anatomical hemorrhoidectomy with semi closed suture combined with stapled mucosal ligation for the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids.
【Methods】
Clinical data of 86 patients with mixed hemorrhoids admitted to the Department of Surgery, Dayu Health Center of Jiyuan, from May 2023 to September 2024 were retrospectively analyzed. The patients were divided into an observation group and a control group according to the surgical method, with 43 cases in each group. The control group received conventional Milligan Morgan hemorrhoidectomy (external dissection and internal ligation), while the observation group was treated with anatomical hemorrhoidectomy with semi closed suture combined with stapled mucosal ligation. The two groups were compared in terms of stress response indicators [cortisol (Cor), adrenocorticotropic hormone (ACTH)], anorectal manometric parameters [anal resting rectal pressure (ARRP), anal maximum contractile pressure (AMCP), anal resting pressure (ARP)], postoperative complication rate, and pain intensity assessed by Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) at 6 h, 12 h, and 24 h postoperatively.
【Results】
At 1 day after surgery, serum Cor and ACTH levels in both groups were significantly higher than their preoperative levels (all P<0.05), however, there were no statistically significant differences between the two groups (all P>0.05). The VAS scores in the observation group at 6 h, 12 h, and 24 h postoperatively were all lower than those in the control group, with statistically significant differences (all P<0.05). At 1 month after surgery, ARRP, AMCP, and ARP in both groups were higher than the preoperative values, and the observation group showed significantly higher values than the control group (all P<0.05). The complication rate in the observation group was 9.30% (4/43), which was significantly lower than that in the control group [25.58% (11/43), χ
2
=3.957, P<0.05].
【Conclusion】
Anatomical hemorrhoidectomy with semi closed suture combined with stapled mucosal ligation for treatment of mixed hemorrhoids can effectively alleviate stress responses, reduce postoperative pain, improve anorectal manometric function, and decrease the incidence of postoperative complications.

CHEN Yaohua, YUAN Linchao, LI Lin
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.018
【Objective】
To investigate the correlation of liver fibrosis markers with hepatitis B serological markers (HBV five markers) and HBV-DNA viral load in patients with hepatitis B, and to evaluate their clinical significance.
【Methods】
A total of 137 patients with hepatitis B admitted between April 2024 and April 2025 were enrolled, including 113 patients with chronic hepatitis B (44 mild, 48 moderate, and 21 severe cases) and 24 patients with liver cirrhosis. HBV-DNA viral load and liver fibrosis markers, including procollagen type Ⅲ peptide (PCⅢ), type Ⅳ collagen (CⅣ), laminin (LN), and hyaluronic acid (HA), were compared among different patient groups. The levels of liver fibrosis markers were further analyzed according to HBV-DNA viral load. Spearman correlation analysis was performed to assess the correlations of HBV-DNA viral load, and liver fibrosis markers.
【Results】
The HBV-DNA viral load and the levels of PCⅢ, CⅣ, LN, and HA in patients with chronic hepatitis B were significantly lower than those in patients with liver cirrhosis (P<0.05). The levels of PCⅢ, CⅣ, LN, and HA were significantly correlated with HBV-DNA viral load in patients with hepatitis B (P<0.05). Patients in the HBeAg-positive chronic infection (high infectivity, named "Da Sanyang") group had significantly higher levels of PCⅢ, CⅣ, LN, and HA than the other hepatitis B groups (P<0.05). Correlation analysis showed that HBV-DNA viral load were positively correlated with liver fibrosis markers (P<0.05).
【Conclusion】
Hepatitis B serological markers and HBV-DNA viral load are closely associated with the degree of liver fibrosis in patients with hepatitis B. Active viral replication is strongly associated with the progression of liver fibrosis, particularly in patients with Da Sanyang.

Predictive Value of the AST/ALT Combined with Cholinesterase for Progression to Cirrhosis in Patients with Alcoholic Liver Disease
YANG Fei, ZHANG Gaiyun
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.023
【Objective】
To investigate the predictive value of the aspartate aminotransferase (AST)/alanine aminotransferase (ALT) combined with serum cholinesterase (ChE) for progression to cirrhosis in patients with alcoholic liver disease (ALD).
【Methods】
A total of 98 patients with ALD admitted between January 2023 and June 2024 were categorized into a cirrhosis group (n=35) and a non-cirrhosis group (n=63) according to whether cirrhosis developed. Additionally, 50 healthy volunteers were enrolled as the control group. Differences in the AST/ALT and ChE levels among the three groups were compared, and their correlations with liver stiffness measurement (LSM) and Child-Pugh class were analyzed. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were constructed to evaluate the predictive performance of these indicators for progression to cirrhosis.
【Results】
The serum AST/ALT in the cirrhosis group was higher, whereas the ChE level in the cirrhosis group was lower than those in the non-cirrhosis and control groups (all P<0.05). The serum AST/ALT was higher in patients with Child-Pugh class C than in those with class A or B (P<0.05). LSM values in the inferior segments of the right anterior and posterior hepatic lobes were higher in the cirrhosis group than in the non-cirrhosis group (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that the AST/ALT was positively correlated with LSM in the above hepatic regions and Child-Pugh class, whereas ChE was negatively correlated with those hepatic regions and Child-Pugh class (P<0.05). The combination of the serum AST/ALT and ChE yielded an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.919 for predicting progression to cirrhosis in patients with ALD, with a sensitivity of 88.6% and a specificity of 79.4%.
【Conclusion】
An elevated AST/ALT and reduced ChE level are closely associated with cirrhotic progression in patients with ALD. The combined assessment of both AST/ALT and ChE can effectively predict the risk of cirrhosis and provide reference for early clinical intervention.

Predictive Value of D-Dimer-to-Fibrinogen Ratio for Progressive Cerebral Infarction
GUO Yanli, LIU Shuang, LEI Pei
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.025
【Objective】
To investigate the predictive value of the D-dimer-to-fibrinogen ratio (DFR) at admission for progressive cerebral infarction.
【Methods】
A total of 92 patients with acute cerebral infarction admitted to our hospital from February 2022 to May 2025 were enrolled. The levels of D-dimer and fibrinogen were measured at admission, and the DFR was calculated. The National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) scores were assessed at admission and 72 h after admission. Progressive cerebral infarction was defined as an increase of ≥4 points in the NIHSS score within 72 h (the progression group). The differences in DFR between the progression group and non-progression group were compared. Multivariate Logistic regression analysis was performed to evaluate the correlation between DFR and progressive cerebral infarction. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves were plotted to assess the predictive performance of DFR.
【Results】
Among the 92 patients, 22 developed progressive cerebral infarction, accounting for 23.91%. The DFR in the progression group was significantly higher than that in the non-progression group (P<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that, after adjustment for confounding factors including age, baseline NIHSS score, history of atrial fibrillation, and intravenous thrombolysis, DFR ≥0.27 remained an independent predictor of progressive cerebral infarction (OR=4.908, P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the AUC of DFR for predicting progressive cerebral infarction within 72 h was 0.859 and the optimal cutoff value was 0.27, with a sensitivity of 77.3% and a specificity of 78.6%.
【Conclusion】
An elevated DFR at admission is associated with an increased risk of progressive cerebral infarction within 72 h. DFR has certain predictive value for progressive cerebral infarction and may serve as an auxiliary indicator for early risk stratification in patients with acute cerebral infarction.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.08.026
【Objective】
To investigate the effects of different administration routes of gastrodin combined with piracetam on the prognosis of patients with acute cerebral infarction (ACI).
【Methods】
A total of 94 patients with ACI admitted to Luodian Town Health Center of Runan County from August 2022 to August 2024 were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, with 47 patients in each group. The observation group received intravenous infusion of gastrodin combined with piracetam, while the control group received intramuscular injection of gastrodin combined with piracetam. Clinical efficacy, incidence of adverse reactions, hemorheological parameters, inflammatory factor levels before and after treatment, and follow-up outcomes at 3 months, including activities of daily living [Activities of Daily Living Scale (ADL) score], neurological function [National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS) score], were compared between the two groups.
【Results】
The overall effective rate in the observation group was 93.62%, which was significantly higher than 78.72% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of low-shear whole blood viscosity, high-shear whole blood viscosity, and plasma viscosity in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of interleukin-2 (IL-2), interleukin-6 (IL-6), and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, but the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). After 3 months of follow-up, the NIHSS score in the observation group was lower, while the ADL were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).
【Conclusion】
Gastrodin combined with piracetam is effective and relatively safe for the treatment of ACI. However, intravenous administration provides better therapeutic efficacy and prognosis than intramuscular injection.

【Results】
After 4 weeks of intervention, the headache duration of the observation group was shorter than that of the control group, and the headache frequency, VAS score, NDI score, cervical ROM score and each dimension score of PSQI were lower than those of the control group (all P<0.05). The total nursing satisfaction rate of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).
【Conclusion】
Comprehensive auricular point therapy can effectively shorten the headache duration, reduce headache frequency and pain degree, improve cervical spine activity and sleep quality, and enhance nursing satisfaction in CEH patients, which is worthy of clinical promotion.
