Abstract：【Objective】By analyzing the clinical characteristics of head tetanus and combining with literature, the experience of diagnosis and treatment of head tetanus after endoscopic sinus surgery was discussed. 【Methods】A 46-year-old male patient was diagnosed with head tetanus 26 days after endoscopic sinus surgery. He underwent anti-infection, tetanus antitoxin, sedation, tracheotomy and nutritional support.【Results】This patient with cephalic tetanus was successfully cured without sequelae. 【Conclusion】Early diagnosis and timely treatment are the key to successful treatment of rhinogenic head tetanus. Within one month after endoscopic sinus surgery, patients should avoid exposure to tetanus-enriched environment.
