Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effects of nutritional intervention combined with isometric resistance exercise on serum adipokines and glycemic control in patients with gestational diabetes (GDM). 【Methods】A total of 146 patients with gestational diabetes admitted from October 2015 to October 2016 were enrolled. They were divided into the treatment group and the control group with 73 cases each, using random number table method. Patients in the control group received routine nursing interventions including health education, psychological care, birth examination and blood glucose testing, and routine nutritional guidance. The treatment group applied nutritional intervention combined with isometric resistance exercise. Serum adipokines, blood glucose control levels, and pregnancy outcomes were compared between the two groups. 【Results】In the treatment group, serum adiponectin level was significantly higher than that in the control group, while levels of visfatin, leptin, group (P<0.01); fasting blood glucose (FPG), 2h postprandial blood glucose (2hPG) and glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c) in the control were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of premature rupture of membranes, cesarean section, macrosomia and hyperbilirubinemia in the treatment group were significantly lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Nutritional intervention combined with isometric resistance exercise can inhibit the secretion of serum adipokines in patients with gestational diabetes, promote glycemic control and improve pregnancy outcomes.
