Efficacy of Salvia Miltiorrhiza Ligustrazine and Butylphthalide Injection on Angiotensin Ⅱ, Brain Natriuretic Peptide and Chemerin Factor in Patients with Acute Ischemic Stroke
Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the effect of salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine and butylphthalide injection on angiotensin Ⅱ (Ang Ⅱ), brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) and adipokinin factor (chemerin) in patients with acute ischemic stroke. 【Methods】A total of 302 patients with acute ischemic stroke were randomly divided into the control group (treated with salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine injection, n=151) and the observation group (salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine + butylphthalide injection, n=151). After 2 weeks of continuous treatment, the NIHSS score was used to observe the neurological function of the patients. The serum levels of BNP, Ang Ⅱ, MDA (malondialdehyde), SOD (superoxide dismutase) and Chemerin were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay.【Results】 The levels of serum BNP, Ang Ⅱ, Chemerin, BNP and MDA in the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the SOD level was higher than that before treatment.The difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The NIHSS scores of the two groups were lower than those before treatment, and the difference between the two groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). The two groups were followed up with for 2 months. The incidence of poor prognosis in the observation group was 3.31% (5/151), which was lower than 9.93% (15/151) in the control group. The difference was statistically significant (χ2=5.355,P=0.021<0.05). 【Conclusion】The salvia miltiorrhiza ligustrazine combined with butylphthalide injection can obviously improve the neurological function of the patients with acute ischemic stroke, and the prognosis is better. It may be related to reducing the level of plasma BNP and MDA, Chemerin, alleviating the inflammatory reaction and improving the body's antioxidant capacity.
