HAN Kaiwu, SHI Bian, LYU Huimei
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.002
【Objective】
To explore the clinical application value of combined detection of carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA) and brain natriuretic peptide (BNP) for early identification of left heart failure (LHF).
【Methods】
A total of 78 patients with early LHF admitted to the hospital from January 2021 to June 2024 were enrolled as the observation group, and 85 healthy volunteers undergoing physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. Levels of CA125, CEA, BNP and cardiac function indicators including left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF) and left ventricular end-diastolic volume (LVEDV) were compared between the two groups. Pearson correlation analysis was used to analyze the correlation among above indexes. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve was adopted to evaluate the diagnostic efficacy of single and combined detection of CA125, CEA and BNP in early LHF.
【Results】
The levels of CA125, CEA and BNP in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (
P
<0.05). LVEF in the observation group was obviously lower, while LVEDV was markedly higher than that in the control group (
P
<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed CA125, CEA and BNP were negatively correlated with LVEF and positively correlated with LVEDV (
P
<0.05). ROC curve analysis revealed combined detection of the three indexes presented the optimal diagnostic efficiency, with an area under the curve of 0.979, a sensitivity of 96.2% and a specificity of 96.5%.
【Conclusion】
The combined detection of CA125, CEA and BNP possesses important clinical significance for early diagnosis of LHF, and it can provide reference basis for clinical early intervention.

Hasiyetiguli Maimaiti, LI Yong, SONG Xiaohang, LYU Wei
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.004
【Objective】
To analyze the composition and clinical data of urinary calculi in patients from Turpan region, clarify the compositional characteristics and distribution rules of urinary calculi in this area, and provide a basic reference for clinical prevention and treatment.
【Methods】
A retrospective analysis was conducted on the clinical data of 118 patients with urinary tract stones admitted to the department of urology, Turpan People's Hospital, from June 2024 to October 2025. The stone compositions were detected using infrared spectroscopy. The overall distribution characteristics of stone components were analyzed, and comparisons were made regarding the detection rates of stone components, the sites of stone occurrence between different genders, and the distribution of major stone components across different age groups.
【Results】
After excluding 1 unqualified specimen, 117 valid samples were included. Calcium oxalate was the main component of the stones, with the detection rates of calcium oxalate monohydrate (76.07%, 89 cases), carbonate apatite (40.17%, 47 cases), and calcium oxalate dihydrate (37.61%, 44 cases), which were all higher than 30%. The detection rate of calcium oxalate monohydrate in females (87.50%) was significantly higher than that in males (70.13%), with a statistically significant difference (
P
<0.05). Mixed stones were the main type (58.97%), of which the most common combination was calcium oxalate monohydrate + calcium oxalate dihydrate + carbonate apatite (34.78%). Among simple -component stones, calcium oxalate monohydrate was dominant (68.75%). Patients were mainly aged 31-60 years (71.79%), and ureteral stones accounted for the highest proportion (68.38%) in the location of stone occurrence. There were no statistically significant differences in age distribution and stone location between different genders (
P
>0.05).
【Conclusion】
Urinary calculi in Turpan region are mainly composed of calcium oxalate, with a high proportion of mixed stones. The incidence characteristics are closely related to the local hot and arid climate and dietary habits. Individualized prevention and treatment plans should be formulated clinically based on stone composition and patient characteristics.

DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.005
【Objective】
To explore the preoperative differential diagnostic value of serum markers combined with conventional ultrasound and contrast-enhanced ultrasound (CEUS) for hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) and intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC).
【Methods】
A total of 124 patients with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC group) and 116 patients with intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (ICC group) admitted to our hospital from January 2022 to November 2024 were enrolled. The levels of alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), carcinoembryonic antigen (CEA), carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) and carbohydrate antigen 19-9 (CA19-9) were detected in both groups. All patients underwent conventional ultrasound and CEUS examinations. The serum marker levels, conventional ultrasonic features, CEUS manifestations and quantitative parameters were compared between the two groups. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was performed to evaluate the preoperative differential diagnostic efficacy of combined detection for HCC and ICC.
【Results】
The AFP level of the HCC group was higher than that of the ICC group, while the levels of CEA, CA125 and CA19-9 were lower in the HCC group (
P
<0.05). Statistically significant differences were observed between the two groups in conventional ultrasonic signs including irregular lesion shape, lesion echo, blurred boundary, bile duct dilatation and portal vein tumor thrombus (
P
<0.05). Significant intergroup differences were also found in CEUS features such as irregular shape, blurred boundary, homogeneous arterial phase enhancement and portal phase enhancement pattern (
P
<0.05). The arrival time and time to peak of the HCC group were longer than those of the ICC group (
P
<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the sensitivity, specificity and area under the curve (AUC) of combined serum markers, conventional ultrasound and CEUS for preoperative differentiation were 96.0%, 95.7% and 0.974 respectively, which were superior to single indicator detection.
【Conclusions】
The combined application of serum markers, conventional ultrasound and CEUS presents high sensitivity and specificity in the preoperative differentiation of HCC and ICC, which can effectively improve preoperative diagnostic accuracy and provide strong evidence for clinical diagnosis.

Control group A received conventional anti-heart failure therapy plus CER intervention; Control group B received conventional anti-heart failure therapy plus tolvaptan intervention; Observation group received conventional anti-heart failure therapy combined with both CER and tolvaptan intervention. Cardiac function indicators [left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), New York Heart Association (NYHA) cardiac function classification, brain natriuretic peptide (BNP), N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide (NT-proBNP)], pulmonary function indicators [forced vital capacity (FVC), forced expiratory volume in the first second (FEV
1
), percutaneous arterial oxygen saturation (SpO
2
)], clinical symptoms [Medical Research Council (MRC) dyspnea scale score, 24-hour urine volume, 6-minute walking distance (6MWD)], biochemical indicators [serum sodium (Na
+
), serum potassium (K
+
), serum creatinine (SCr), blood urea nitrogen (BUN)] and the incidence of adverse cardiovascular events were compared among the three groups before and after treatment.
【Results】
After treatment, LVEF increased, NYHA classification, serum BNP and NT-proBNP levels decreased in all three groups, with statistically significant intergroup differences (

2
in observation group was superior to two control groups (
P
<0.05). The MRC scores of all groups declined, and observation group had lower scores than the two controls (
P
<0.05). The 24-hour urine volume of control group A and B decreased after treatment (
P
<0.05), while that of observation group increased and was significantly higher than the two controls (
P
<0.05). The 6MWD of observation group increased obviously and was longer than the two controls (
P
<0.05). Serum Na
+
of all three groups elevated after treatment with significant intergroup differences (
P
<0.05). Serum SCr decreased in each group (
P
<0.05), without statistical difference between groups (
P
>0.05). BUN levels dropped in all groups and showed significant intergroup differences (
P

Application Value of Serum Amyloid A and Prealbumin in Evaluating Therapeutic Efficacy and Prognosis of Patients with Acute Respiratory Infection
FAN Linpeng, LU Ling, GUO Yunbo
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.017
【Objective】
To explore the application value of serum amyloid A (SAA) and prealbumin (PA) levels in evaluating therapeutic efficacy and prognosis of patients with acute respiratory infection (ARI).
【Methods】
A total of 500 patients with ARI treated in our hospital from February 2023 to February 2025 were retrospectively analyzed. According to pathogen test results, patients were divided into viral infection group (
n
=238) and bacterial infection group (
n
=262). Based on disease severity, they were classified into mild group (
n
=182), moderate group (
n
=149) and severe group (
n
=169). In accordance with clinical outcomes, patients were divided into good prognosis group (
n
=407) and poor prognosis group (
n
=93). The levels of SAA and PA in each group were detected and compared. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was used to evaluate the predictive efficiency of SAA and PA for the severity of ARI. Logistic regression analysis was adopted to identify influencing factors of poor prognosis in ARI patients.
【Results】
The level of SAA in bacterial infection group was higher than that of viral infection group, while PA level was lower, with statistically significant differences (
P
<0.05). As the severity of ARI aggravated, SAA level increased progressively and PA level decreased gradually, and intergroup differences were statistically significant (
P
<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that combined detection of SAA and PA exhibited superior predictive efficiency for ARI severity compared with single indicator (
P
<0.05). The proportions of patients with bacterial infection, severe illness and lower respiratory tract infection were higher in poor prognosis group (
P
<0.05). Inflammatory indicators including SAA and white blood cell (WBC) count, C-reactive protein (CRP) were significantly higher, while PA was markedly lower in poor prognosis group (all
P
<0.05). Infection type, disease severity, infection site, SAA level, PA level, WBC count and CRP were independent influencing factors for poor prognosis of ARI patients.
【Conclusions】
The changes of serum SAA and PA levels possess important clinical value in judging therapeutic efficacy and predicting prognosis of patients with acute respiratory infection.

JIANG Dongrong
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.018
【Objective】
To investigate the clinical efficacy of neoadjuvant chemotherapy combined with surgery in patients with resectable and borderline resectable pancreatic cancer.
【Methods】
A total of 70 patients with pancreatic cancer were enrolled in this study. Thirty-five patients who underwent surgery alone were assigned to the control group, while 35 patients who received neoadjuvant chemotherapy followed by surgery were assigned to the observation group. Perioperative outcomes and survival rates at 1 and 3 years postoperatively were compared between the two groups.
【Results】
There were no statistically significant differences between the two groups in terms of perioperative indicators including tumor diameter, surgical procedure, operative time, postoperative hospital stay, and postoperative complications (
P
>0.05). The 1-year and 3-year postoperative survival rates in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, and the overall survival time in the observation group was significantly longer than that in the control group (
P
<0.05). In addition, the overall metastasis rate and local recurrence rate after surgery in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group (
P

Diagnostic Value of Related Parameters of Three-Dimensional Arterial Spin Labeling Imaging for Cognitive Dysfunction in Patients with Ischemic Leukoaraiosis
TONG Xiangsha, ZHAN Haohui, HU Gefan
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.025
【Objective】
To investigate the diagnostic value of three-dimensional arterial spin labeling (3D-ASL) for cognitive dysfunction in patients with ischemic leukoaraiosis (ILA).
【Methods】
According to the Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) scores, 85 patients with ILA were divided into a cognitive dysfunction group (Group A,
n
=30) and a normal cognitive function group (Group B,
n
=55).3D-ASL was performed to obtain cerebral blood flow (CBF) values in whole-brain regions of interest (ROIs). Multivariate logistic regression analysis was used to identify factors associated with cognitive dysfunction in patients with ILA. Receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis was conducted to evaluate the diagnostic performance for cognitive dysfunction in ILA patients.
【Results】
Compared with Group B, Group A had significantly higher age, proportion of grade 3 ILA, homocysteine (Hcy), and fibrinogen (FIB) levels, while C-reactive protein (CRP) levels and CBF values in the whole brain, periventricular region, and subcortical region were significantly lower (all
P
<0.05). Multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that age, ILA grade, Hcy, and FIB were risk factors for cognitive dysfunction in patients with ILA (
P
<0.05), whereas CRP and CBF values in the whole brain, periventricular region, and subcortical region were protective factors (
P
<0.05). ROC curve analysis demonstrated that the combined detection of whole-brain, periventricular, and subcortical CBF values yielded an area under the curve (AUC) of 0.959, with significantly better diagnostic performance than any single indicator alone.
【Conclusion】
Age, ILA grade, Hcy, FIB, CRP, and CBF levels are important factors affecting cognitive function in patients with ILA. The combined assessment of CBF values in the whole brain, periventricular region, and subcortical region provides higher diagnostic value for cognitive dysfunction in patients with ILA.

【Conclusions】
URSL under local anesthesia is safe and efficient for ureteral calculi, especially suitable for mid and distal ureteral stones. Benefiting from anatomical advantages, female patients experience milder pain and shorter operation time with higher satisfaction, and can be taken as the priority recommended population.

Comparison of Application Effects between Transradial and Transfemoral Approaches in Digital Subtraction Angiography and Cerebral Artery Stenting
ZHANG Na
DOI: 10.3969/j.issn.1671-7171.2026.07.028
【Objective】
To compare the clinical effects of transradial and transfemoral approaches in digital subtraction angiography (DSA) and cerebral artery stenting.
【Methods】
A total of 118 patients who underwent cerebral DSA and cerebral artery stenting in our hospital from March 2023 to March 2024 were enrolled and divided into the observation group (61 cases, transradial approach) and the control group (57 cases, transfemoral approach) according to different access routes. Operation time, puncture time, postoperative recovery time, contrast medium dosage, fluoroscopy time, success rates of puncture and cerebral angiography, image acquisition parameters and incidence of complications were compared between the two groups.
【Results】
There was no significant difference in contrast medium dosage between the two groups (
P
>0.05). The observation group had shorter operation time, puncture time and postoperative recovery time but longer fluoroscopy time than the control group (
P
<0.05). The success rate of cerebral angiography was higher while the puncture success rate was lower in the observation group (
P
<0.05). No statistically significant differences were found in CD, DAP, cine DAP, fluoroscopic DAP and frame number between two groups (
P
>0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group (
P
<0.05).
【Conclusions】
Compared with the transfemoral approach, the transradial approach has no obvious influence on the dosage of contrast medium. It can shorten operation, puncture and postoperative recovery time, achieve higher angiography success rate and lower complication risk.
