Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the impact of rehabilitation training based on biomechanical principles combined with visual feedback balance training on motor function in patients with idiopathic Parkinson's disease (PD).【Methods】A total of 120 PD patients admitted to Yan'an Hospital of Xi'an Medical University were randomly divided into two groups, with 60 patients in each group. The control group received rehabilitation training based on biomechanical principles, while the observation group received additional visual feedback balance training on top of the basic rehabilitation training. The limb motor function, trunk control ability, and walking stability of the patients were compared between the two groups before and after 3 months of training.【Results】Before training, there were no statistically significant differences in limb motor function, trunk control ability,Berg Balance Scale (BBS) scores, and Dynamic Gait Index (DGI) scores between the two groups (P>0.05). After 3 months of training, the total scores of limb function in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The trunk control ability scores in the observation group (in aspect of turning to the healthy side, turning to the affected side on the bed, sitting up from a lying position, and maintaining balance on an armless chair) were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The BBS and DGI scores in the observation group were also higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).【Conclusion】Biomechanical principles-based rehabilitation training combined with visual feedback balance training can effectively improve limb motor function, enhance trunk control ability, and maintain body balance and walking stability in patients with PD.
