Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the effect of electrical stimulate biofeedback combined with exercise therapy on stress urinary incontinence (SUI) in middle-aged and elderly women. 【Methods】 From June 2018 to June 2020, 80 cases of women who were diagnosed as "stress urinary incontinence" were selected as the subjects. Patients were randomly divided into the observation group (n=40 cases) and the control group (n=40 cases). Electrical stimulation biofeedback therapy combined with comprehensive exercise therapy (abdominal breathing, bridge exercise and Kegel exercise) in the observation group and electrical stimulation biofeedback therapy combined with Kegel exercise in the control group were applied for a course of treatment (2 months). The scores of urinary incontinence quality of life questionnaire (I-QOL), total effective rate, muscle strength of pelvic floor type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ muscle fibers and myoelectric potential were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 The total effective rate of patients in the observation group was 90% (36/40), which was significantly higher than 72.5% (29/40) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (χ2=4.021,P=0.045). After one course of treatment, the scores of urinary Incontinencequality of life questionnaire (I-QOL) were improved in both groups. Compared to the control group, the improvement was more significant in the observation group (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in muscle strength distribution between the two groups of patients with type Ⅰ and type Ⅱ muscle fibers (P>0.05). After treatment, the pelvic floor Ⅰ and Ⅱ muscle fiber muscle strength were improved in both groups. However, the observation group was better than the control group, and the difference was statistical significance (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in pelvic floor myoelectric potential between the two groups before treatment (P>0.05); after treatment, the pelvic floor myoelectric potential of the observation group and the control group were significantly higher than before treatment, and the observation group was higher than the control group. The differences were statistically significant (P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Electric stimulation biofeedback combined with comprehensive exercise therapy (abdominal breathing, bridge exercise and Kegel exercise) can effectively improve the symptoms of stress urinary incontinence in middle-aged and elderly women and enhance pelvic floor muscle strength, which has more significant effect than electric stimulation feedback therapy combined with Kegel exercise.
