Abstract:【Objective】 To evaluate the difference of intervention effects of different diet and exercise strategies on type 2 diabetes patients living in the community. 【Methods】 According to the questionnaire filled in by 300 chronic type 2 diabetes patients who met the inclusion criteria during recruitment, the patients were divided into five groups with 60 cases in each group, referring exercise, meal replacement, meal order, separate meals, and routine diet control. The corresponding groups of patients were trained with five different non-drug blood glucose control programs, and the management self-efficacy and compliance of the intervention subjects were assessed with the scale questionnaire before the intervention,at the first month of the intervention, and at the second month of the intervention. The blood biochemical indicators [fasting blood glucose (FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c),triglycerides (TG),serum total cholesterol (TC)] were compared in each group. 【Results】 There were significant differences in the total score of DMSES (Diabetes Management Self-Efficacy Scale) scale, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and other factors before and after intervention in different groups(P<0.05). There were significant differences in the mean score of the compliance questionnaire, the total score of the DMSES scale, fasting blood glucose, glycosylated hemoglobin and other factors at different intervention time points as well(P<0.05).【Conclusion】 On the basis of being able to load and adapt to the intensity of exercise program, exercise can be the first choice for diabetes patients to control glucose without drugs. For patients who are not suitable for exercise programs, substitute meals are the second choice for achieving better glucose control effects.
