Abstract：【Objective】 To investigate the etiology, treatment and curative effect of humeral fracture caused by throwing exercise. 【Methods】 The clinical data of 22 patients with humeral fracture caused by throwing exercise were analyzed retrospectively from April 2013 to April 2017. The etiology and treatment were analyzed, followed up and the curative effect were observed.【Results】 Twenty-two cases were followed up for 10~22 months, and the fracture line disappeared 4~6 months after operation. According to the Neer score, 18 cases were excellent (81.82%), 4 cases were good (18.18%), the excellent and good rate was 100%.【Conclusion】 Rotational violence is the main cause of humeral fracture in throwing exercise, and satisfactory results can be obtained after early diagnosis and timely treatment.
