Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the impact of cognitive behavioral intervention on the psychological state and sleep quality of puerperae undergoing medically indicated induction of labor. 【Methods】 A total of 100 puerperae undergoing medically indicated induction of labor admitted to our hospital from January 2021 to October 2023 were selected and divided into a control group(receiving routine intervention) and an observation group(receiving cognitive behavioral intervention) using the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The anxiety level [Generalized Anxiety Disorder-7(GAD-7) score], depression level [Edinburgh Postnatal Depression Scale(EPDS) score], sleep quality [Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index(PSQI) score], post-traumatic growth level [Chinese version of Post-traumatic Growth Inventory(C-PTGI) score] and maternal satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after the intervention. 【Results】 After the intervention, the GAD-7 score and EPDS score of the observation group were lower than those of the control group(P<0.05), and the PSQI score of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). The scores of all dimensions and the total score of C-PTGI in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). The maternal satisfaction of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Cognitive behavioral intervention can improve the psychological state and sleep quality of puerperae undergoing medically indicated induction of labor, and enhance their post-traumatic growth level, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
