Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the influence of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with rehabilitation robot training on the rehabilitation process of elderly patients with lower limb fracture. 【Methods】 A total of 96 elderly patients with lower limb fracture were divided into the observation group and the control group by random table method,with 48 cases in each group. The control group received rehabilitation robot training,while the observation group received acupuncture combined with rehabilitation robot training. The lower extremity simplified Fugl-Meyer Motor Function Scale (FMA) score,Traditional Chinese Medicine symptom score (TCM),Berg Balance Scale (BBS) score,Ability of Daily Living Scale (ADL) score,Holden Functional Walking Scale (FAC) score,joint function (HSS) score,and joint maximum range of motion before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. Complications were compared between the two groups as well. 【Results】 The TCM symptom scores of pain,swelling and ecchymosis in the observation group after treatment were significantly lower than those before treatment in the observation group and after treatment in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of ADL,BBS and FMA in the observation group were higher than those before treatment in the observation group and after treatment in the control group (P<0.05). FAC,HSS and range of motion were significantly higher in the observation group after treatment than before treatment in the observation group and after treatment in the control group (P<0.05). There was no difference in the total complication rate between the two groups (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 Acupuncture combined with rehabilitation robot training for elderly patients with lower limb fractures can accelerate the rehabilitation process and improve the joint function and joint range of motion of patients.
