Abstract:【Objective】 To evaluate the value of echocardiography in the diagnosis of chest diseases. 【Methods】 The ultrasonic imaging data of 3 cases of type Ⅱ (distal defect) main pulmonary septal defect (APSD), 30 cases of patent ductus arteriosus and 5 cases of thymic tumors diagnosed in our hospital from January 2013 to December 2019 were analyzed retrospectively. The application value of echocardiography in the diagnosis of chest diseases was analyzed. 【Results】Three cases of APSD type II were accurately diagnosed only on the parasternal high pulmonary artery section; In 30 cases of patent ductus arteriosus, the diameter of parasternal high pulmonary artery was significantly larger than that of parasternal large artery; Five cases of thymic tumors were located accurately in the high parasternal pulmonary artery section. 【Conclusion】The parasternal high pulmonary artery section of cardiac ultrasound is very important. It can improve the diagnosis of chest diseases and reduce missed diagnosis. It plays an important role in clinical diagnosis, treatment and operation.
