Abstract：【Objective】To investigate the expression of Golgi phosphorylated protein 3 (GOLPH3) and Livin in gastric cancer and their relationship with clinicopathological characteristics. 【Methods】The expression levels of GOLPH3 and Livin in gastric cancer tissues and adjacent tissues were detected by immunohistochemical staining. The expression levels of GOLPH3 and Livin were analyzed according to tumor size, TNM stage, invasion degree and lymph node metastasis. 【Results】Positive expression rates of GOLPH3 and Livin protein in gastric cancer tissues were 67.50% and 53.75%, respectively, which were significantly higher than those in adjacent tissues (30.0% and 20.0% ,respectively, P<0.05).The expression levels of GOLPH3 protein in gastric cancer tissues with different TNM stages, differentiation degrees, lymph node metastasis and serosal invasion were significantly different (P<0.05). The expression levels of Livin protein in gastric cancer tissues with different NM stage, differentiation degree and lymph node metastasis were significantly different (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】GOLPH3 and Livin proteins are highly expressed in gastric cancer tissues and are closely related to the occurrence and development of gastric cancer.
