Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the relationship between the levels of microRNA29 (miR-29a) and chemokines in peripheral blood of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and their cardiac function and cardiac remodeling. 【Methods】 Clinical data of 120 patients with CHF (observation group) treated in our hospital from March 2017 to March 2018 were selected, and 60 healthy volunteers (control group) who underwent physical examination in our hospital at the same time were selected. The levels of miR-29a and chemokines in peripheral blood were compared between the two groups. Left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), cardiac output (CO), left ventricular end diastolic diameter (LVEDD), left ventricular posterior wall thickness (LVPW), left ventricular mass index (LVMI), and left ventricular remodeling index (LVRI) were detected in the CHF group. The correlation between miR-29a, chemokines and cardiac function indexes was analyzed. 【Results】 The levels of serum miR-29a and chemokine in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The levels of serum miR-29a and chemokine in patients with CHF of grade Ⅱ, grade Ⅲ and grade Ⅳ were gradually increased, and the differences between the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). LVEDD, LVPW and LVMI of patients with CHF of grade Ⅱ,Ⅲ and IV showed a trend of gradual increase, and the differences between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05); LVEF, CO and LVRI of patients with CHF of grade Ⅱ, Ⅲ and IV showed a trend of gradual decrease, and the differences between groups were statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of serum miR-29a and chemokines were negatively correlated with LVEF and LVRI (P<0.05).【Conclusion】 The expression of miR-29a and chemokines in CHF patients are significantly increased. At the same time, the expression of miR-29a and chemokines are closely related to cardiac function and cardiac remodeling in CHF patients.
