Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of heart failure on the survival of patients with septic shock.【Methods】 Eighty-two patients with septic shock admitted to our hospital from June 2016 to June 2018 were divided into the observation group (complicated with heart failure) and the control group (without heart failure) according to whether they had heart failure at the time of treatment, 41 in each group. The time of mechanical ventilation and hospitalization, the score of acute physiology and chronic health status Ⅱ (APACHE Ⅱ), the incidence and mortality of systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS) and multiple organ dysfunction syndrome (MODS) were compared between the two groups.【Results】 The time of mechanical ventilation and hospital stay in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and Apache Ⅱ score was lower than that in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There were 22 cases of SIRS (53.66%), 23 cases of MODS (56.10%), 13 cases of death (31.70%), 13 cases of SIRS (31.71%), 15 cases of MODS (36.59%) and 6 cases of death (14.63%) in the observation group. The incidence of SIRS, the incidence and mortality of MODS in the two groups were statistically significant (P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Heart failure will affect the prognosis of patients with septic shock, increase the time of mechanical ventilation and hospitalization, increase the incidence and mortality of MODS, and threaten the survival of patients. Clinical attention should be paid to such patients.
