Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the effects of single-direction thoracoscopic lobectomy on oxygen radicals and vascular endothelial growth factor in patients with lung cancer. 【Methods】 The clinical data of 136 patients with lung cancer treated in our hospital were retrospectively analyzed and divided into thoracoscopic group (underwent single-direction thoracoscopic lobectomy) and control group (underwent radical thoracotomy) according to the treatment methods. Operation time, blood loss, thoracic drainage and hospitalization time were compared between the two groups. Serum levels of SOD, MDA, GSH-px, VEGF, MMP-9 and CRP were compared between the two groups before and 24h after surgery. Postoperative complications were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 The operation time, bleeding volume, pleural drainage and hospitalization time of patients in the thoracoscopic group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05); the serum SOD and GSH-px levels of patients in the thoracoscopic group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05), and the MDA,VEGF,MMP-9 and CRP levels were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Single-direction thoracoscopic lobectomy is effective in the treatment of lung cancer. the trauma to patients is small, which can reduce the oxidative stress response of patients and reduce the expression of VEGF, and the incidence of complications is low, which is worthy of clinical application.
