Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the changes of serum chromogranin (CgA), leptin and adiponectin (ADPN) in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF) and their relationship with cardiac function. 【Methods】A total of 110 patients with CHF (the CHF group) and 110 healthy subjects (the control group) were enrolled in our hospital from April 2016 to September 2017. Serum CgA, leptin and adiponectin levels were measured in all patients of the two groups. The New York Heart Association (NYHA) grading standards were used to analyze the correlation between serum CgA, leptin and adiponectin levels and cardiac function indicators. 【Results】Serum levels of CgA, leptin and adiponectin were significantly higher in the CHF group than in the control group (P<0.05). The LVEF of the CHF group was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). The values of LVEDD, LAD, RVD and LVMI were higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The levels of serum CgA, leptin and ADPN in NYHA class Ⅱ,Ⅲ and Ⅳ patients with CHF were gradually increased, and the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). Serum levels of CgA, leptin and ADPN in the CHF group were significantly negatively correlated with LVEF (rCgA=-0.721, rleptin=-0.693,rADPN=-0.580, both P<0.05).【Conclusion】The levels of serum CgA, leptin and adiponectin in patients with CHF increase significantly and show negative correlation with LVEF indicating the deterioration of cardiac function in patients.
