Abstract:【Objective】To analyze the correlation between nutritional status and immune function in elderly patients with heart failure. 【Methods】The clinical data of 96 elderly patients with heart failure admitted to our hospital from January 2016 to January 2019 were retrospectively analyzed. They were divided into group A (60~70 years old), group B (71~80 years old) and group C (over 80 years old) according to sex and age. Women were grouped in the same way as men. All of them were divided into six groups, with 16 cases in each group. The levels of hemoglobin (Hb), total protein (TP), albumin (ALB), prealbumin (PA), transferrin (TF), serum creatinine (SCr), triglyceride (TG), CD3+、CD4+、CD8+、CD4+/CD8+, immunoglobulin A (IgA), immunoglobulin M (IgM), immunoglobulin G (IgG) were compared among the six groups. The correlation between nutritional indexes and levels of CD3+、CD4+、CD8+、CD4+/CD8+ and IgA,IgM,IgG was analyzed.【Results】The levels of Hb, TP, ALB, PA, TF and SCr in the group C of male and female patients were lower than those in the group A and the group B, and the levels of TG were higher than those in the group A and the group B, with statistical significance (P<0.05); there was no significant difference between the same groups of different genders (P>0.05). The levels of CD3+、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+, IgA, IgM and IgG in the group C of male and female patients were lower than those in the group A and the group B, and the levels of CD8+ were higher than those in the group A and the group B, with statistical significance (P<0.05). The levels of Hb, TP, ALB, PA, TF and SCr in elderly patients with heart failure were positively correlated with CD3+、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+, IgA, IgM and IgG levels (P<0.05), negatively correlated with CD8+ (P<0.05), negatively correlated with the levels of CD3+、CD4+、CD4+/CD8+, IgA, IgM and IgG (P<0.05), and positively correlated with CD8+(P<0.05).【Conclusion】The nutritional status of elderly patients with heart failure was decreased and their epidemic function was abnormal, and there was a correlation between the decline of nutritional status and the abnormal immune function.
