Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the preventive value of pneumatic compression therapy combined with enoxaparin sodium injection against lower extremity deep vein thrombosis (DVT) after cesarean section. 【Methods】 A total of 200 pregnant women who underwent cesarean section at the First People's Hospital of the Xiangfu District ,Kaifeng from May 2021 to May 2024 were selected and divided into the control group (treated with enoxaparin sodium injection) and the observation group (treated with additional pneumatic compression therapy based on the control group) using a random number table method, with 100 cases in each group. Coagulation function indicators [D-dimer (D-D), prothrombin time (PT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT)], lower extremity venous blood flow velocity, and the incidence of DVT were compared between the two groups. 【Results】 After surgery, the D-D level in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, while PT and APTT were longer than those in the control group (P<0.05). The blood flow velocities in the deep femoral vein, popliteal vein, and posterior tibial vein in the observation group were higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of DVT in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Pneumatic compression therapy combined with enoxaparin sodium injection can effectively improve coagulation function and hemodynamic indicators, and reduce the incidence of DVT after cesarean section.
