Effects of Low-Molecular-Weight Dextran Combined with Large Amounts of Drinking Water on Serum Inflammatory Factors and Uterine Environment in Pregnant Women with Oligohydramnios

Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the effect of low-molecular-weight dextran combined with large amounts of drinking water on serum inflammatory factors and uterine environment in pregnant women with oligohydramnios. 【Methods】A total of 112 pregnant women with oligohydramnios in our hospital from January 2015 to December 2020 were selected. Patients were randomly divided into 4 groups: 28 cases of low molecular dextran combined with large amounts of drinking water group, 28 cases of low molecular dextran group, 28 cases in the large amounts of drinking water group and 28 cases in the control group. The serum inflammatory factors [serum tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α), interleukin-2 (IL-2), and interleukin-6 (Interleukin-6, IL-6), serum high sensitivity reactive C protein (hs-CRP)], uterine cavity environment [amniotic fluid index (AFI), fetal pulse index (pulse index, PI) and the ratio of the maximum systolic blood flow rate of fetal umbilical artery blood flow to the end-diastolic blood flow rate (systolic/diastolic, S/D)] before treatment and 7 days after treatment in the four groups of pregnant women were detected. 【Results】There were no significant differences in age, gestational age, parity, TNF-α, IL-2, hs-CRP, AFI, PI and S/D among the four groups(P>0.05). Compared with the control group, TNF-α, IL-6, hs-CRP, PI, S/D in the low molecular dextran combined with large amounts of drinking water group were significantly decreased, while AFI was significantly increased (P<0.05). The IL-6, Hs-CRP, PI, S/D in low molecular dextran group decreased significantly and AFI increased significantly if they were compared to the control group (P<0.05). Also, compared with the control group, IL-6, hs-CRP, PI, S/D in the large amounts of drinking water group were decreased significantly and AFI was increased significantly (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Combining low-molecular-weight dextran with large amounts of drinking water in the treatment of oligohydramnios can improve the uterine cavity environment and serum inflammatory factor levels.
