Effect of B-ultrasound Assisted Mammotome Minimally Invasive Breast Resection on Serum Inflammatory and Pain Factors in Elderly Patients with Benign Breast Tumors

Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of B-ultrasound assisted Mammotome minimally invasive breast resection on postoperative recovery and serum pain factors,expression in elderly patients with benign breast tumors. 【Methods】The clinical data of 92 elderly patients with benign breast tumors in Jinan Maternal and Child Care Hospital were selected for retrospective analysis. They were divided into the observation group (n=47) and the control group (n=45) according to different treatment methods. The control group underwent open surgery, while the observation group underwent B-ultrasound assisted Mammotome minimally invasive breast resection. The surgical status, complications, postoperative tumor residual status, treatment satisfaction, and incision aesthetic score, serum pain factors and immune function indexes before operation and after operation were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The operation time, incision healing time, hospitalization time and scar length in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, and the intraoperative blood loss was lower than that of the control group (P<0.05). Serum levels of NPY, 5-HT, PGE2, IL-10, and CRP in the two groups before surgery were higher than those on the 3rd day after surgery, but the observation group was lower than the control group and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). The levels of serum IL-10 and CRP in the two groups were higher than those before operation, and the observation group was lower than the control group. The levels of INF-γ in the two groups were lower than those before operation, and the observation group was higher than the control group (P<0.05). There were 2 cases (4.26%) of residual tumor in the observation group, which was lower than 3 cases (6.67%) in the control group, and the difference was not statistically significant (P>0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was 6.38% (3/47), which was lower than 22.22% (10/45) in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The use of B-ultrasound assisted Mammotome minimally invasive breast resection for the treatment of the elderly patients with benign breast tumors has the advantages of short operation time, small scars, light pain, quick postoperative recovery, less trauma, fewer complications, high incision aesthetics and better patient satisfaction. Also it can reduce the body's inflammatory response and immunosuppressive state, which provides significant curative effect and fewer complications.
