Abstract：【Objective】 To investigate the clinical effect of external-to-internal FasT-Fix suture combined with fibro-hemagglutination tamponade in the repair of refractory meniscus injury.【Methods】 Fifty-one cases of refractory meniscus injury in our hospital from March 2015 to March 2018 were retrospectively analyzed. Among them, 29 cases were treated by external-to-internal FasT-Fix suture combined with fibro-hemagglutination (observation group). 32 cases were sutured only by outward-to-inside FasT-Fix (control group). All patients were followed up for 11 months. IKDC score, Lysholm score and Tegner score were used to evaluate the clinical efficacy. 【Results】No complications such as joint interlock, knee joint movement disorder, vascular and nerve injury, wound infection and rejection occurred in all patients after operation. No obvious infection was found in the wounds of both groups, and no second operation was performed. The IKDC score, Lysholm score and Tegner score of the two groups were significantly higher than those of the pre-operation , and the IKDC score, Lysholm score and Tegner score of the observation group were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The repair of refractory meniscus injury by external-to-internal FasT-Fix suture combined with fibro-hemagglutination technique is effective, and the functional recovery after operation is good. It is worth popularizing and applying in clinical practice.
