Abstract:【Objective】To explore the clinical effect of recombinant human basic fibroblast growth factor (Rh-bFGF) preparation combined with sodium hyaluronate patch in the treatment of traumatic tympanic membrane perforation. 【Methods】A total of 82 patients (82 ears) with traumatic tympanic membrane perforation admitted to Yulin City Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine from June 2020 to June 2022 were selected and randomly divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table method, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received treatment with sodium hyaluronate patches, while the observation group received treatment with Rh-bFGF formulation combined with sodium hyaluronate patches. The healing of tympanic membrane perforation in patients was evaluated after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment, respectively; We compared the air bone conduction difference and air guided hearing valve between two groups before treatment and 3 months after treatment; We also compared the severity of tinnitus and ear pain between two groups of patients after 4 weeks of treatment.【Results】The healing rate of the tympanic membrane in the observation group was higher than that in the control group after 2 weeks and 4 weeks of treatment (P<0.05). After 3 months of treatment, the air bone conduction difference and air guided hearing valve in both groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). After 4 weeks of treatment, the severity of tinnitus and ear pain in both groups was lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The combination of Rh-bFGF preparation and sodium hyaluronate patch in the treatment of traumatic tympanic membrane perforation can help improve the patient's hearing level and tympanic membrane healing rate, and improve symptoms of tinnitus and ear pain.
