Abstract:Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of sodium hyaluronate for preventing tendon adhesion .[Methods]Totally 42 cases of finger tendon rupture(65 stripes) underwent one-stage reparation .During the opera-tion ,the modified Kessler method was used for the suture of tendon .Sodium hyaluronate 2ml was injected into tendon sheath canal .The skin was sutured .The finger activity was observed after operation .[Results] After the follow up for average 5 months ,the efficacy was assessed by using the total active finger activity (TAM) standard . The efficacy was good in 44 stripes ,and the good and excellence rate was 77 .2% .Two fingers with poor efficacy underwent tenolysis after half a year and had good function recovery .[Conclusion]Sodium hyaluronate can prevent or alleviate tendon adhesion ,so it is an ideal biological materials to prevent tendon adhesion .
