Abstract:【Objective】To explore the relationship of nutritional indexesand serum vitamin D[25-(OH) D] level with glucose/ lipid metabolism during pregnancy. 【Methods】A total of 120 pregnant women in the second trimester of pregnancy who were admitted to our hospital from March 2020 to July 2021 were selected as the research objects. The weight gain (GWG) of all pregnant women during pregnancy was measured. The levels of serum 25-(OH)D,fasting blood glucose (FPG),two-hour postprandial blood glucose (2hPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbAlc),triglycerides (TG),total cholesterol (TC),low-density lipoprotein (LDL-C) and high-density lipoprotein (HDL-C) were measured. The differences of glucose and lipid metabolism indexes among pregnant women with different levels of GWG and 25-(OH)D were analyzed. 【Results】According to the serum 25-(OH)D level during pregnancy,36 cases (30.00%) were in the normal group,49 cases (40.83%) in the deficiency group,24 cases (20%) in the deficiency group and 11 cases (9.17%) in the severe deficiency group. The levels of serum TG,TC,LDL-C,HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG in the normal,deficient,deficient,and severely deficient groups of serum 25-(OH)D levels increased sequentially; and the differences between groups were statistically significant (P< 0.05).The levels of serum HDL-C in four groups were normal group > insufficient group > deficient group > severe deficiency group (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that 25-(OH)D level were negatively correlated with TG,TC,LDL-C,HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG, while HDL-C was positively correlated with 25-(OH)D levels (P<0.05). According to GWG,there were 31 cases (25.83%) in the excess group,62 cases (51.67%) in the appropriate group and 27 cases (22.50%) in the excess group. The levels of TG,TC,and LDL-C in the lack of group,the appropriate group,and the excessive group increased sequentially; and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05). While the HDL-C level decreased sequentially,and the difference between the groups was statistically significant (P<0.05).The levels of HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG in the lack of group and the excessive group were higher than those in the appropriate group (P<0.05),but there were no significant differences in the levels of HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG between the two groups (P>0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that too little GWG was negatively correlated with TG,TC,LDL-C,HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG,and it was positively correlated with HDL-C (P<0.05). Also,the too much GWG was positively correlated with HDL-C,HbAlc,FPG and 2hPG,while it was negatively correlated with TG,TC and LDL-C (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Lack of 25-(OH)D level and too much or too little GWG during pregnancy are closely related to glucose and lipid metabolism. Detecting 25-(OH)D and GWG in time during pregnancy and adjusting them within an appropriate range are the effective means to avoid the disorder of glucose and lipid metabolism.
