Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the characteristics of lipid metabolism in patients with gestational hypertension and its relationship with pregnancy outcomes. 【Methods】From December 2019 to December 2021,80 patients with gestational hypertension who were admitted to the Obstetrics and Gynecology Department of Zhashui County People's Hospital,Shangluo City,Shaanxi Province were selected as the observation group, and 80 pregnant women who underwent physical examination during the same period were selected as the control group. The levels of glucose metabolism [fasting blood glucose (FPG),glycosylated hemoglobin (HbA1c)],lipid metabolism indexes [triglyceride (TG),total cholesterol (TC),low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C),High-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-C)] levels and pregnancy outcomes in the observation group and the control group were compared. According to the severity of gestational hypertension, the observation group was divided into the mild group (n=53) and the severe group (n=27). The glucose, lipid metabolism and adverse pregnancy outcomes were compared between the mild and severe groups. Thus, the correlation of the metabolism of glucose and lipid to adverse pregnancy outcomes in patients with blood pressure was analyzed. 【Results】The levels of HbA1c,FPG,TC,TG and LDL-C in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05),while the level of HDL-C was lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence rates of premature birth, macrosomia, fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, oligohydramnios, premature rupture of membranes, polyhydramnios, cesarean section, and low-quality infants in the observation group higher than the control group (P<0.05). The levels of HbA1c,FPG,TC,TG and LDL-C in the severe group were higher than those in the mild group (P<0.05),while the level of HDL-C was lower than those in the mild group (P<0.05). In the severe group, the incidence rates of premature birth, macrosomia, fetal distress, postpartum hemorrhage, oligohydramnios, premature rupture of membranes, polyhydramnios, cesarean section, and low-quality infants were higher than those of the mild group (P<0.05). The Spearman test showed that the levels of FPG,HbA1c,TG,TC,and LDL-C in patients with gestational hypertension were positively correlated with adverse pregnancy outcomes (P<0.05),and the level of HDL-C was negatively correlated with adverse pregnancy outcomes (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The glucose and lipid metabolism in patients with gestational hypertension is significantly abnormal, which is closely related to adverse pregnancy outcomes.
