Effects of Butylphthalide Injection Combined with Vinpocetine Injection on Cerebral Hemodynamics and Cognitive Function of Patients with Acute Cerebral Infarction

Abstract:【Objective】To observe the effects and safety of butylphthalide combined with vinpocetine on cerebral hemodynamics and cognitive function in the treatment of acute cerebral infarction(ACI)patients. 【Methods】A total of 120 ACI patients in our hospital were randomly divided into two groups with 60 cases in each group.The control group was given vinpocetine,while the observation group was given butylphthalide on the basis of the control group.Both groups were treated for 14 d.The clinical efficacy,NIHSS score,MMSE score,cerebral hemodynamics [peak flow velocity (Vp),average flow velocity (Vm),cerebrovascular reserve (CVR)] and serum homocysteine (Hcy),6-keto-prostaglandin-F1A (6-K-PGF1a) and VEGF were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group ( P<0.05).Compared to before treatment,the NIHSS score of the two groups decreased after treatment; And NIHSS score of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group.After treatment,the MMSE score of the two groups increased and MMSE of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,Vp,Vm and CVR of the two groups showed an increasing trend after treatment,and those values in the observation group was significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05).Compared with before treatment,the Hcy of the two groups decreased after treatment,and the decreasing of the observation group was significantly lower than that of the control group.After treatment,the levels of 6-k-PGF1a and VEGF increased,and the increasing of the observation group was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in two group was not significantly different (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】Butylphthalide injection combined with vinpocetine injection have significant efficacy in the treatment of ACI,which can significantly improve cerebral hemodynamics,reduce the levels of Hcy,and increase the levels of 6-k-PGF1a and VEGF to promote the recovery of neural function and cognitive function,without increasing adverse drug reactions.
