Abstract:【Objective】 To study the changes and significance of serum miR-99b-5p, hs-CRP and UA levels in schizophrenic patients.【Methods】 From February 2015 to January 2018, 85 patients with schizophrenia (schizophrenia group), 76 patients with bipolar disorder (bipolar disorder group) and 78 healthy volunteers (control group) were prospectively selected. The serum levels of mir-99b-5p, hs CRP and UA were detected by RT-PCR, latex enhanced immunoturbidimetry and uric acid oxidase method. The value of serum mir-99b-5p, hs CRP and UA levels in the diagnosis of schizophrenia was analyzed. 【Results】 The serum levels of mir-99b-5p, hs CRP and UA in patients with schizophrenia were lower than those in patients with bipolar disorder (P<0.05). Serum mir-99b-5p level was negatively correlated with PANSS positive symptom score, general pathological score and total score (P<0.05) and positively correlated with negative symptom score (P<0.05); serum hs CRP level was positively correlated with PANSS positive symptom score, general pathological score and total score; serum UA level was positively correlated with PANSS positive symptom score and total score. Mir-99b-5p, hs CRP and UA were independent risk factors of schizophrenia. Serum mir-99b-5p and hs CRP had high value and specificity in the diagnosis of schizophrenia (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 Mir-99b-5p and hs CRP can be used as markers of schizophrenia. The detection of serum mir-99b-5p, hs CRP and UA levels in patients with schizophrenia will be helpful for disease diagnosis and clinical treatment.
