Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the clinical effect of interventional embolization in the treatment of small anterior communicating artery aneurysm.【Methods】 The clinical data of 28 patients with small anterior communicating artery aneurysms treated by interventional embolization in the Department of Neurosurgery of Changsha Central Hospital from January 2011 to June 2017 were collected, and the treatment process was analyzed. The prognosis was evaluated by improved Rankin Scale score 6 months after operation, and the prognosis was considered as good if the score was less than or equal to 2.【Results】 Among the 28 cases, 2 cases died, 8 cases had poor prognosis, 20 cases had good prognosis and no plant survival patients. Six months after operation, 21 patients underwent DSA reexamination, all showed that the parent artery was unobstructed, and no obvious stenosis was found in the stent; 2 cases of aneurysm recurrence, all of them were patients with simple coil embolization. Seven patients failed to undergo DSA reexamination, including 2 dead patients, and 5 patients were followed up by telephone. 【Conclusion】 Interventional embolization for the treatment of small anterior communicating artery aneurysms has good short-term effect and good prognosis, which is worthy of clinical reference.
