Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the changes and significance of monocyte scavenger receptor (CD163), serum carbohydrate antigen 125 (CA125) and growth differentiation factor-15 (GDF-15) in peripheral blood of patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). 【Methods】A total of 140 patients with CHF diagnosed in our hospital (the CHF group) from March 2017 to May 2018 and 70 healthy volunteers (the control group) from the same period were selected for the study. The levels of peripheral blood CD163, serum CA125 and GDF-15 were compared between the two groups. Cardiac function indicators: left ventricular end-diastolic (LVEDD), left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF), left ventricular anteroposterior diameter (LAD), left ventricular relative wall thickness (RWT) were compared as well.【Results】The levels of CD163, serum CA125 and GDF-15 in peripheral blood of patients with CHF were significantly higher than those of the control group (P<0.05). The LVEDD and LAD in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group, while the LVEF and RWT were significantly lower than those in the control group; And the differences were statistically significant (P<0.05). The value of LVEF was negatively correlated with levels of serum CD163, CA125 and GDF-15 in patients with CHF (rCD163=-0.729, rCA125=-0.638, rGDF-15=-0.552,P<0.05).【Conclusion】The levels of serum CD163, CA125 and GDF-15 in patients with chronic heart failure were significantly increased. The increase was significantly negatively correlated with LVEF values.
