Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the correlation between serum microRNA133 (microRNA133), human epididymal protein 4 (HE4), heme oxygenase 1 (HO-1) and cardiac function in patients with chronic heart failure (CHF). 【Methods】The clinical data of 140 patients with CHF (observation group) admitted to our hospital from October 2016 to August 2017 were selected, and 70 healthy persons in the same period were selected as the control group. Serum levels of microRNA133, HE4 and HO-1 were detected and compared between the two groups, and the correlation between microRNA133, HE4 and HO-1 levels and LVEF in CHF patients was analyzed. 【Results】The serum HE4, HO-1 and microRNA-133 levels in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group (P<0.05). Serum HE4, HO-1 and microRNA-133 levels in CHF patients gradually increased with the increase of NYHA classification, and there were significant differences between groups (P<0.05). Serum HE4, HO-1 and microRNA133 levels in the observation group were negatively correlated with LVEF in CHF patients (rHE4=-0.611,rHO-1=-0.628,rmiRNA-133=-0.702 mean P<0.05).【Conclusion】The expression of microRNA-133, HE4 and HO-1 increases significantly in CHF patients, while the expression of microRNA-133, HE4 and HO-1 is negatively correlated with cardiac function in CHF patients.
