Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the expression changes and clinical significance of miRNA-182 in serum of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE). 【Method】 A total of 110 SLE patients who visited our hospital were assigned to the SLE group,while 110 healthy individuals who underwent physical examinations at the same time in our hospital were assigned to the control group; After all subjects were enrolled in the group,fasting venous blood was drawn to detect the level of miRNA-182 antibody,calculate the SLEDAI score of SLE patients,analyze the expression changes of miRAN-182 in SLE patients and evaluate the value of disease activity.【Results】The relative expression level of miRNA-182 in peripheral blood of SLE patients was significantly higher than that of the control group (P<0.05);Compared with patients in remission stage,the level of miRAN-182 in patients with active SLE was significantly increased (P<0.05). Pearson correlation analysis found a positive correlation between miRNA-182 and SLEDAI score (r=0.627,P<0.05);The concentration of miRNA-182 in active phase patients decreased significantly after treatment compared to before treatment (P<0.05);The receiver operating characteristic curve (ROC) showed that miRNA-182 had high clinical efficacy in identifying active SLE patients,with an area under curve (AUC) (95%CI) of 0.88 (0.81-0.96).【Conclusion】miRNA-182 is elevated in SLE and closely related to disease activity.
