Abstract：【Objective】 To explore the efficacy effects of different cervical pretreatment methods in the preoperative preparation of postmenopausal patients undergoing hysteroscopic surgery. 【Methods】 A total of 120 postmenopausal patients who underwent hysteroscopic surgery in our hospital from January 2023 to December 2024 were selected and randomly divided into group A, group B, and group C, with 40 cases in each group. Group A was pretreated with a disposable cervical dilator 60 minutes before the operation, group B was intravenously injected with 80 mg phloroglucinol 30 minutes before the operation, and group C was placed with 400 μg misoprostol in the posterior vaginal fornix 12 hours before the operation. The total effective rate of cervical softening, dilation time, and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared among the three groups. 【Results】 The total effective rate of cervical softening in group A and group B was significantly higher than that in group C (P<0.05), however, there was no significant difference between group A and group B (P>0.05). The cervical dilation time in group A and group B was significantly shorter than that in group C (P<0.05), but there was no significant difference between group A and group B (P>0.05). The total incidence of adverse reactions in group A and group B was significantly lower than that in group C (P<0.05), however, there was no significant difference between group A and group B (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 In the preoperative preparation of postmenopausal patients undergoing hysteroscopic surgery, both the disposable cervical dilator and phloroglucinol can effectively soften the cervix, shorten the dilation time, and have a low incidence of adverse reactions, with better effects than misoprostol. They can be considered as preferred clinical options.
