Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the effect of postural adjustment combined with touch therapy on clinical symptoms of neonatal pneumonia. 【Methods】A total of 100 children with neonatal pneumonia admitted to our hospital from April 2022 to April 2024 were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing, and the observation group received changing position nursing and touch therapy intervention on the basis of the control group. The improvement of symptoms of the two groups (fever, cough, phlegm and other symptoms disappeared time, hospital stay), respiratory function [Blood oxygen partial pressure (PaO2), carbon dioxide partial pressure (PaCO2), percentage of inhaled oxygen concentration (FiO2), blood oxygen saturation (SpO2), Oxygenation index (OI)], developmental status (CDCC score),emotional and neurobehavioral conditions [Neonatal Pain Score (NIPS) score, neonatal Psych behavioral Assessment Scale (NBNA) score] were compared between the two groups.【Results】 The duration of symptom disappearance (fever, cough, phlegm) and hospitalization in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the proportion of SpO2, PaO2 and OI > 400 in the two groups was higher than before intervention; the proportion of SpO2, PaO2 and OI > 400 in the observation group was higher than that in the control group; the PaCO2 in the two groups was lower than before intervention, and the PaCO2 in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). After intervention, MDI score and PDI score of the two groups were higher than before intervention, and the observation group was higher than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After intervention, the NIPS score of the two groups was lower than before intervention, the NIPS score of the observation group was lower than that of the control group, and the NBNA score of the two groups was higher than that before intervention, and the NBNA score was higher than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Changing position nursing combined with touch therapy can effectively shorten the time of symptom disappearance and hospital stay of neonatal pneumonia children, enhance respiratory function and improve their emotional condition.
