Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the application and safety of alfentanil combined with midazolam in fiberoptic bronchoscopy intubation.【Methods】 A total of 104 patients undergoing fiberoptic bronchoscopy intubation in our hospital were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 52 patients in each group. The observation group received alfentanil combined with midazolam anesthesia, while the control group received midazolam combined with sufentanil anesthesia. The examination time, awakening time, Ramsay score, hemodynamic parameters, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.【Results】 The examination time and awakening time in the observation group were shorter than those in the control group (P<0.05). The Ramsay score after examination in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05). The mean arterial pressure (MAP) and heart rate (HR) levels in both groups gradually increased from before surgery (T1) to immediately after anesthesia induction (T2) and 10 minutes after the start of surgery (T3), then decreased at the end of surgery (T4). The MAP and HR at T3 and T4 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The overall incidence of adverse reactions in the observation group was lower than that in the control group (P<0.05).【Conclusion】 The use of alfentanil combined with midazolam in fiberoptic bronchoscopy intubation can shorten the patient's awakening time, achieve moderate sedation depth, stabilize hemodynamic parameters, and reduce the overall incidence of adverse reactions. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
