Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the effect of matrine sit-bath fumigating decoction on postoperative anal wound recovery and serum inflammatory factors in patients with mixed hemorrhoids.【Methods】The clinical data of 80 patients with mixed hemorrhoids admitted to our hospital from June 2022 to June 2024 were retrospectively analyzed, and they were divided into the observation group and the control group according to treatment methods, with 40 cases in each group. Both groups received mixed hemorrhoid external stripping and internal ligation. The control group was treated with potassium permanganate solution anal wound bath after operation, and the observation group was treated with self-designed matrine sat bath after operation for 4 weeks. The clinical efficacy, pain degree [visual analogue of pain (VAS) score], anal wound recovery (wound efflux score, wound area score, wound healing time) and serum inflammatory factors [C-reactive protein (CRP), interleukin-6 (IL-6), tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)] were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The total effective rate of the observation group was higher than that of the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the same group 1 day after surgery, the VAS scores at 3 and 7 days after surgery were significantly decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Compared with the same group 1 day after surgery, the wound permeability score and wound area score of the two groups were significantly decreased at 3 and 7 days after surgery, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P<0.05). The wound healing time in the observation group was significantly shorter than that in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). After treatment, serum levels of IL-6, CRP and TNF-α in 2 groups were lower than before treatment, and the observation group was lower than control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The Self-made matrine sit-bath fumigation can significantly promote the healing of anal wounds in patients with mixed hemorrhoids, reduce inflammation, and is an effective adjuvant treatment.
