Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the application effect of autogenous dentin particles combined with Nd: YAG laser in patients with anterior periodontitis after tooth extraction.【Methods】A total of 123 patients with anterior periodontitis who underwent tooth extraction surgery in our hospital from May 2021 to March 2023 were selected and divided into the observation group (n=63, 63 teeth) and the control group (n=60, 60 teeth) according to different treatment methods. The control group was treated with Nd: YAG laser, while the observation group was treated with autogenous dentin particles in addition to the control group. The treatment effects of the two groups were compared.【Results】One year after treatment, the success rate of implantation in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group (P<0.05), but there was no statistically significant difference in aesthetic effects between the two groups (P>0.05); After 7 days of treatment, the pain levels in both groups decreased, and the observation group was lower than the control group (P>0.05). One year after treatment, the plaque index (PLI), bleeding index (SBI), gingival index (GI), and periodontal pocket depth (PD) in both groups decreased (P<0.05), and the PLI, SBI, GI, and PD in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. The total incidence of complications in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group (χ2=0.230, P=0.631). 【Conclusion】 The application of autogenous dentin particles combined with Nd: YAG laser in patients with anterior periodontitis after tooth extraction can significantly improve chewing efficiency, aesthetic effects, and periodontal function, with a low incidence of complications. It is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
