Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of comprehensive management platform for bariatric and metabolic surgery patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus. 【Methods】A sampling survey method was used to select 65 obese patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent bariatric metabolic surgery at Xi'an People's Hospital(Xi'an Fourth Hospital) from March 2018 to March 2019 as the control group for routine information management. Another 65 obese patients with type 2 diabetes who underwent bariatric metabolic surgery at Xi'an People's Hospital(Xi'an Fourth Hospital) from April 2019 to May 2020 were selected as the observation group for comprehensive management platform for bariatric and metabolic surgery patients. The postoperative body mass index(BMI),duration of postoperative complications,and blood glucose indicators were compared between the two groups.【Results】The BMI level of 6 months and 12 months after operation in the observation group was significantly lower than that in the control group(P<0.01). Compared to the control group,the duration of vomiting,constipation,diarrhea and alopecia was shorter in the observation group(P<0.01). And the levels of FPG,2hPG and HbA1c in the observation group at 12 month after surgery were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The comprehensive management platform used in obese patients with type 2 diabetes and bariatric and metabolic surgery can lower the patient's BMI,reduce the duration of postoperative complications,and promote postoperative blood sugar to approach normal levels. operation.
