Abstract:【Objective】 To investigate the current status of anxiety and depression in prediabetic patients in Shaanbei area, and to analyze the correlation with the knowledge of diabetes prevention and treatment. 【Methods】 Through the method of cluster sampling,479 patients with prediabetes in Shaanbei area from March 2019 to July 2021 were investigated. Anxiety and depression status of 479 patients with prediabetes was counted. Among them, patients with anxiety and/or depression symptoms were recorded as the anxiety and depression group, and the rest were recorded as the non-anxiety and depression group. The general data of the anxiety-depression group and the non-anxiety-depression group were compared. Logistic multivariate regression was used to analyze the influencing factors of anxiety and depression in patients with prediabetes. 【Results】 Among the 479 patients with prediabetes,138 patients(28.81%) were anxiety and depression patients, including 72 patients(15.03%) mild anxiety and depression patients,56 moderate anxiety and depression patients (11.69%),and 10 severe anxiety and depression patients (2.09%). The remaining 341 cases were non-anxiety and depression patients (71.19%). The age, education level of high school or below, family monthly income < 5000 yuan, obesity, living alone, divorced or widowed cases, proportion of cases with family history of diabetes, waist circumference in the anxiety and depression group were higher than those in the non-anxiety and depression group (P<0.05). The total cognitive score of diabetes prevention and treatment knowledge in the anxiety and depression group was lower than that in the non-anxiety and depression group (P<0.05). Logistic multivariate regression analysis, the results showed that age, family monthly income < 5000 yuan, divorced or widowed, family history of diabetes, and total cognitive scores of diabetes prevention and treatment knowledge were all associated with anxiety and depression in patients with prediabetes Influencing factors (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】 The current situation of anxiety and depression in diabetic patients in Shaanbei area is not optimistic, and the total score of knowledge and awareness of diabetes prevention and treatment is an influencing factor of anxiety and depression in patients with prediabetes.
