Abstract:【Objective】To detect the expression and clinical significance of matrix metalloproteinase(MMP-3)、commonacute lymphoblastic leukemia antigen(CD10) and cell proliferation antigen Ki-67 in Triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC).【Methods】The manifestations of MMP-3、CD10 and Ki-67 were detected in 55 cases of TNBC,136 cases of Non-triple-negative breast cancer(N-TNBC) and 42 cases benign epithelial lesions of the breast by immunohistochemistry method.【Results】The overexpression rates of MMP-3、CD10 and Ki-67 protein in TNBC were 50.9%、45.5%and 56.4%,respectively, which were significantly higher than in N-TNBC(19.9%、21.3%、27.9%) and non-tumor tissues(9.5%、7.1%、0).The differences were statistically significant(P<0.05).The expression of MMP-3 was positively correlated with that of CD10 and Ki-67in TNBC(rs=0.312,P=0.020;rs=0.310,P=0.021,P<0.05). The positive rates of MMP-3、CD10 and Ki-67 overexpression were strongly associated with histological type of breast carcinoma, lymph node involvement and pN grades in TNBC (P<0.05).【Conclusion】High levels of MMP-3、CD10 and Ki-67 expression are significant in TNBC,which maybe play an importan trole in invasive event.Detection of the three markers together may contribute to the judgment of the grade of malignancy, the ability of tumor infiltration and the potency of metastasis.MMP-3、CD10 and Ki-67 proteins are closely associated with TNBC progression and subtypes,which may be a new potential prognostic biomarkers and therapeutic targets for TNBC.
