Abstract:【Objective】To explore the optimization process and effects of pre-hospital first aid for patients with severe trauma. 【Methods】 A total of 60 patients with severe trauma received by the emergency department of our hospital from March 2019 to March 2021 were selected as the research objects (the observation group) and patients were treated with optimized first aid process. At the same time, 60 patients with severe trauma received from February 2017 to February 2019 were selected as the control group and received routine treatment procedure. The first aid receiving time, treatment success rate and complications of the two groups were compared . 【Results】The round-trip time from ambulance to pick-up, the staying time in the emergency room and the treatment time determined by the specialty in the observation group were less than those in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The success rate of first aid in the observation group was higher than that in the control group, and the failure rate of first aid was lower than that in the control group. There was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). The incidence of complications in the observation group was lower than that in the control group, and there was significant difference between the two groups (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The optimized process of pre-hospital first aid for patients with severe trauma can minimize the treatment time in the emergency room and the treatment time determined by the specialty, improve the efficiency and safety of emergency treatment, ensure patients to receive rapid and effective treatment, and reduce mortality.
