Abstract:【Objective】To explore the new diagnosis and treatment based on MDT (multi-disciplinary team) for children with brain tumor. 【Methods】A total of 122 children with brain tumor admitted to our hospital from January 2017 to December 2018 were analyzed and divided into observation group and control group according to random number table method, with 61 cases in each group. The control group received conventional diagnosis and treatment, and the observation group received multidisciplinary collaborative process treatment. The improvement of clinical symptoms and quality of life were compared between the two groups. 【Results】The proportion of postoperative headache, dizziness, nausea and vomiting, fundus edema, tumor compression symptoms in the observation group were lower than those in the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference in the scores of quality of life between the two groups (P>0.05); after treatment, the scores of quality of life in the observation group were higher than those in the control group, and the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】New diagnosis and treatment based on MDT can improve the clinical prognosis and promote the fast recovery.
