Abstract:【Objective】 To study the regulation effect of stachydrine on tumor growth and the expression of CyclinD1, c-myc, Bcl-2, c-Met, p53, p16, Bax, Caspase-3 in gastric cancer xenograft tumors mice. 【Methods】After cultured SGC-7901 cell line of human gastric cancer, the cell suspension was inoculated into BALB / C nude mice subcutaneously to obtain the transplanted tumor model of gastric xenograft cancer. The mice were randomly divided into two groups: the control group treated with normal saline and the STA group treated with stachydrine . The volume and weight of the transplanted tumor and the expression of these oncogenes were measured after 21 days.【Results】The volume and weight of the transplanted tumor in the STA group were significantly lower than those in the control group; the protein expression of CyclinD1, c-myc, Bcl-2 and c-Met in the transplanted tumor was significantly lower than that in the control group, while the protein expression of p53, p16, Bax and Caspase-3 were significantly higher than that in the control group. 【Conclusion】Stachydrine can inhibit the growth of gastric cancer transplanted tumor mice, down regulate the expression of proto oncogene and up regulate the expression of tumor suppressor gene.
