Abstract:【Objective】To analyze the clinical efficacy of single-port thoracoscopic and video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery for traumatic pneumothorax, and provide more reference for clinical practice. 【Methods】A total of 70 patients with traumatic pneumothorax admitted to our hospital from August 2016 to August 2018 were enrolled. 35 patients underwent single-hole thoracoscopic surgery and 35 patients underwent video-assisted thoracoscopic surgery. The changes of serum inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress related indicators in the perioperative period, the day of surgery and the 3 days after surgery were compared between the two groups, and the incidence of complication was statistically analyzed. 【Results】The bleeding volume, drainage volume, thoracic tube placement time and hospitalization time of the observation group were less than those of the control group, and the operation time was longer than that of the control group, with statistical significance (P<0.05). On the day after operation, there was no significant difference in serum inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress related indicators between the two groups (P>0.05); on the 3rd day after operation, the levels of inflammatory cytokines and oxidative stress related indicators in the two groups were lower than those in the day after operation, and the observation group was lower than the control group, the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). There was no significant difference in the incidence of complications between the two groups (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】Compared with conventional video-assisted thoracoscopy, single-port video-assisted thoracoscopy for traumatic pneumothorax has the characteristics of less trauma, faster recovery, shorter hospitalization time, and can more effectively reduce the inflammatory response and stress response of the body after operation, which is worthy of popularization and application.
