Abstract:【Objective】To investigate the effective ventilation volume, blood oxygen concentration, sleep and quality of life in patients with simple snoring and obstructive sleep apnea hypopnea syndrome (OSAS) during sleep. 【Methods】From January 2017 to May 2018, 50 patients with obstructive SAHS (group A), 50 patients with simple snoring (group B) and 50 healthy people (group C) were randomly selected. AHI, SaO2 and sleep quality during sleep were compared among the three groups. The quality of life of the group A and the group B was assessed by Calgary Quality of Life Scale and compared. 【Results】The AHI of the group A, the group B and the group C increased in turn, and the SaO2 decreased in turn, with significant difference between groups (P<0.05). Shallow sleep was dominant in the group A and the group B, while deep sleep was dominant in the group C, and the proportion of shallow sleep in the group A was significantly higher than that in the group B. The scores of daily activities, social interaction, emotions and symptoms in the group A were significantly lower than those in the group B, with significant difference (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The patients with obstructive SAHS had higher AHI and lower SaO2, mainly with shallow sleep and lower quality of life.
