Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the relationship between corneal shaping effect and the amount of myopia correction after wearing corneal plasticizer. 【Methods】A total of 500 cases of myopia were selected from January 2014 to January 2018 in our Hospital. Corneal plastic effects (ocular refraction, central corneal thickness, corneal curvature) and naked eye vision were measured before and after wearing glasses for 7 days, 3 months and 6 months. The relationship between corneal shaping effect and myopia correction was analyzed. 【Results】After 7 days, 3 months and 6 months of wearing glasses, the diopter, central corneal thickness and corneal curvature of myopia patients were significantly lower than those before wearing glasses. The visual acuity of naked eye was significantly higher than that before wearing glasses(P<0.05). There was no significant difference between the indexes of 3 months and 6 months after wearing glasses (P>0.05). Pearson correlation analysis showed that ocular diopter, central corneal thickness and corneal curvature were positively correlated with the increase of visual acuity of naked eye (P<0.05). 【Conclusion】The corneal shaping effect of myopic patients after orthokeratology is related to the amount of myopia correction. Eye refraction/diopter, central corneal thickness and corneal curvature can be used as important indicators to evaluate the effect of corneal shaping.
