Abstract:【Objective】 To compare the diagnostic value of radioimmunoassay and chemiluminescence immunoassay in thyroid tumors.【Methods】 A total of 76 patients with suspected of having thyroid tumors were included in the study. The pathological diagnosis was served as the gold standard. The levels of thyroglobulin detected by both radioimmunoassay and chemiluminescence immunoassay were compared. The diagnostic performance of the two methods was evaluated using receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curve analysis.【Results】 The number of thyroglobulin-positive cases, thyroglobulin antibody levels, and thyroglobulin levels detected by chemiluminescence immunoassay were all significantly higher than those detected by radioimmunoassay (P<0.05). The diagnostic concordance rate between chemiluminescence immunoassay and pathological diagnosis was 92.11% (70/76), which was significantly higher than that of radioimmunoassay (76.32%, 58/76); And the difference was statistically significant (P<0.05). ROC curve analysis showed that the area under the curve (AUC), sensitivity, and specificity of chemiluminescence immunoassay were significantly higher than those of radioimmunoassay (P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Compared to radioimmunoassay, chemiluminescence immunoassay has higher clinical value and better diagnostic performance in the diagnosis of thyroid tumors, providing more reliable evidence for clinical diagnosis and treatment.
