Abstract:【Objective】To explore the effect of health education combined with psychological nursing on compliance behavior and mental state of patients with acquired immunodeficiency syndrome (AIDS) complicated by tuberculosis. 【Methods】A total of 266 patients with AIDS complicated by tuberculosis admitted to our hospital from March 2024 to March 2025 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group using a random number table, with 133 cases in each group. The control group received routine nursing intervention, while the observation group received health education combined with psychological nursing intervention on the basis of routine nursing. Self-efficacy, compliance behavior, Self-Rating Anxiety Scale (SAS) score, Self-Rating Depression Scale (SDS) score and nursing satisfaction were compared between the two groups before and after intervention. 【Results】After intervention, the scores of emotion management, medication management, symptom management, communication with medical staff, social support acquisition and fatigue symptom management in both groups were higher than those before intervention, and the observation group had higher scores than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After intervention, the excellent and good rate of compliance behavior in the observation group was 90.98% (121/133), which was higher than 77.44% (103/133) in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=9.161, P<0.05). After intervention, the SAS and SDS scores of both groups were lower than those before intervention, and the observation group had lower scores than the control group, with statistically significant differences (P<0.05). After intervention, the nursing satisfaction in the observation group was 89.47% (119/133), which was higher than 78.95% (105/133) in the control group, with a statistically significant difference (χ2=5.542, P<0.05). 【Conclusion】Health education combined with psychological nursing can effectively improve the compliance behavior of patients with AIDS complicated by tuberculosis, alleviate anxiety and depression, and enhance nursing satisfaction, which is worthy of promotion and application.
