Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the intervention effect of responsibility-based holistic intervention combined with picture-text communication on children with pneumonia.【Methods】 A total of 82 children with pneumonia who were treated in our hospital from January 2022 to December 2024 were selected and divided into a control group and an observation group by convenience sampling, with 41 cases in each group. The control group received responsibility-based holistic intervention, while the observation group received the same intervention combined with picture-text communication. The symptom relief status, treatment compliance, medical fear(Children's Medical Fear Scale score), and quality of life(Children's Quality of Life Scale score) of the two groups were compared.【Results】 The cough cessation time, wheezing disappearance time, and hospitalization time of the observation group were shorter than those of the control group(P<0.05). The treatment compliance of the observation group was higher than that of the control group(P<0.05). After the intervention, the scores of medical fear in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05), and the scores of quality of life were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05).【Conclusion】 Responsibility-based holistic intervention combined with picture-text communication can promote the relief of symptoms in children with pneumonia, improve treatment compliance, reduce medical fear, and improve quality of life, which is worthy of clinical promotion and application.
