Abstract:【Objective】 To explore the effect of Panlongqi tablets combined with nabumetone on pain symptoms and serum-related indicators in patients with lumbar disc herniation. 【Methods】 A total of 60 patients with lumbar disc herniation were randomly divided into an observation group and a control group, each with 30 patients. The control group received conventional medication + nabumetone treatment, while the observation group received Panlongqi tablets on top of the control group's treatment. The pain relief, serum inflammatory indicators, lumbar spine function indicators, clinical efficacy, and incidence of adverse reactions were compared in both groups. 【Results】 After 6, 9, and 12 weeks of treatment, the visual analog scale (VAS) scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group. After treatment, serum tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α), interleukin-17 (IL-17), interleukin-1β (IL-1β) levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The Oswestry Disability Index (ODI) scores in the observation group after 3, 6, 9, and 12 weeks of treatment were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The total effective rate in the observation group (80.00%) was higher than that in the control group (53.33%) (P<0.05). And the incidence of adverse reactions in both groups showed no significant difference (P>0.05). 【Conclusion】 Panlongqi tablets combined with nabumetone in treating patients with lumbar disc herniation can significantly alleviate pain symptoms, reduce serum inflammatory levels, and improve lumbar spine function with significant clinical effects and high medication safety.
